  • Has there been any discussions on improving Aspinwall considering the additional truck traffic the Foodbank will bring in.

Project details presented by Robert Klann of Robert P. Madison, Int.  Presented details on the materials, scope of project, updated site plan, circulation, operations, storm water management, landscaping materials, etc.

Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

  • Will the subject building replace the current facility on S. Waterloo Rd?  Per RK: No, both facilities will be maintained and complement each other in design and operations.
  • Will there be any ground level signage? Per RK:  The team had considered a monument sign also but had not made a concrete decision about it.  They are happy to return at a later date for a full review of a signage plan for the site.
  • What are the window materials?
  • Maybe consider using more of a curved drive from E. 137th to the main parking areas to give more of a green buffer to those residents along E. 139th.  A sligth reconfiguring of the drive will give more flexibility to use that space more productively in the future.
  • Can more trees be added to that buffer, it seems to be about 600' long.

Jamie Baker of Greater Collinwood Dev. Corp. is in attendance and available to state the organization's support of the project.
